This time of year recalls memories of childhood vacations with my family. Whether it was a real get-in-the-car, get-out-of-town vacation or just playing in the backyard with other kids from the neighborhood, it was a time for fun and more fun. Well, there was that one year when summer school came into the picture – yuck! It felt like every night, we’d play outside until it was too dark to see, then finally fall into bed, depleted from another day of fun. In those days, summer seemed to last forever!
